SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT
Due to the repeated civil wars and conflicts in the Eastern parts of the Democratic Republic of
Congo(D.R.C) that have seriously torn apart the province and country as whole.
 During the civil wars quite a number of women have been targeted and victimized and as results many
of them have been affected and infected with HIV/AIDS and other related Sexual Transmitted Diseases
(S.T.Ds)
Loss of family members such as husband who in African context are perceived as bread winner of the
family, so, there is a higher risk of them get exposed and give in to any prostitution channel provided
that they put something on the table.
 There is/was wide devastation of houses, huts, cattle, farms and chickens
 There is need to Take care for so women here rejected
We all do acknowledge that the stricken and torn out civil wars has been one the major factors of a
continuous poor economic problems in our provinces and country as a whole.
Women are neglected and hard works no respect of human Right of women , they cannot teach the
word of GOD, They cannot stand in front man m they should cover there hard,,,,,
Due the above referenced critical points the Sets of Health hope and healing center, women Groups
some initiatives projects to rehabilitate the women and girls through counselling and small projects for
Self- sufficient and Reading the word of GOD these are the main raison of our sewing Center.
